Dua for Honour and Pleasure of Allah

✨اَللّٰهُمَّ زِدْنَا وَلَا تَنْقُصْنَا ، وَأَكْرِمْنَا وَلَا تُهِنَّا ، وَأَعْطِنَا وَلَا تَحْرِمْنَا ، وَآثِرْنَا وَلَا تُؤْثِرْ عَلَيْنَا ، وَأَرْضِنَا وَارْضَ عَنَّا.

Translation :

O Allah, grant us more and not less. Honour us and do not disgrace us. Grant us and do not deprive us. Favour us and do not favour others over us. Make us pleased with You and be pleased with us.

Transliteration :

Allāhumma zidnā wa lā tanquṣnā, wa akrimnā wa lā tuhinnā, wa aʿṭinā wa lā taḥrimnā, wa āthirnā wa lā tu’thir ʿalaynā, wa arḍinā wa-rḍā ʿannā.

Hadith:

‘Umar bin Al-Khattab (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) narrated: "When revelation came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, one could hear what sounded like the buzzing of bees before his face. One day revelation was coming to him, he faced the Qiblah, raised his hands and said: [the above]. He ﷺ said: ‘Ten verses were revealed to me, whoever abides by them shall enter Paradise (and they are): ‘Successful indeed are the believers…’ until the completion of ten verses (23:1-10).'” (Tirmidhī 3173)
