Al-Quds, The Holy Jerusalem
Al-Quds, or Jerusalem, is thethird most special city forMuslims. It is in Palestine.
It was known as"Bayt-ul-Magdis."Thic means "The Holy House.
There is a special masjidain Jerusalem. It ishAl-Masjid-ul-Aqsa.
One special night, Prophet Muhammad visited AlMasjid-ul-Aqsa in Al-Quds. He prayed in the masjid at thatnight with all other prophets. He then stood on a special rock acalled As-Sakhrah Al-Musharrafah. From there, he went upto the heavens. That night is called Al-Isra' Wal-Mi'raj. Allahgave Prophet Muhammad ﷺ a very fast ride called Al-Buraq.

Surat-ul-Isra': Ayah 1
﴿سُبحانَ الَّذي أَسرى بِعَبدِهِ لَيلًا مِنَ المَسجِدِ الحَرامِ إِلَى المَسجِدِ الأَقصَى الَّذي بارَكنا حَولَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِن آياتِنا إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّميعُ البَصيرُ﴾ [الإسراء: ١]
TRANSLITERATION:
Subhan-allathee asra bi'abdihi laylam-mina almasjidil-harami ila-almasjid-il-aqsa-allathee baraknahawlahu linuriyahu min ayatina innahu huwaassamee'-ul-baseer.
TRANSLATION:
"Glory to Allah, who took His servant for a trip atnight from Al-Masjid-ul-Haram to Al-Masjid-ul-Aqsa,which we blessed in and around it, to show him[Muhammad] some of our [Allah's] signs and miracles, [Allah] is the One who hears and sees [allthings]."
