Taqwa: Allah Sees Me All The Time

Taqwa: Allah Sees Me All The Time

If you are alone in your room, is there anyone who can see you?Who can see and hear you all the time?

In Al-Qur'an, Allah said that Luqman, the wise man told his son:
"O my son, indeed if it would be the weight of a mustard seed and should be in a rock or anywhere in the Heavens or on the Earth, Allah will bring it forth.Indeed Allah is knowledgable." Surat Luqman 16

Allah knows where everything is. Just like this ayah says,if a small, tiny seed is inside a rock, on the Earth, or in theHeavens, Allah knows about it.

Think about it!

When you are by yourself with no onearound, do you think you are alone?

When you see two or three people talking, do you think they are alone?

If you answered "NO," you are"CORRECT."

When a person is by himself, Allah is watching him. When two people are talking, Allah is watching them.

He is the third.

When three people are talking, Allah is watching them. He is the fourth.

When you whisper to your friend and you think no

one else can hear you, Allah can.

Allah says:
"Allah has full knowledge of all things." 58:7

Allah knows what you are going to say before you say it.Allah knows what you do even when you think no one can see you.

Story about Taqwa

apple tree
Khalid and Amir were good friends. They were walking home from school one day. They were passing through a garden when they saw a big apple tree. There were somany fresh apples hanging from the tree.

Without thinking, Amir started climbing on the tree to pick some apples. He asked his friend Khalid to watch for anyone around. As soon as Amir started climbing, Khalid yelled, "Come down Amir, somebody see you." Amir replied, "Where? I don't see anyone." Then Amir climbed tthe tree again. Khalid yelled again, "Somebody can see you ." When Amir finally came down, he asked Khalid,"What do you mean somebody can see me? I don't seeaanyone. Do you?"

Khalid was being a good friend. He reminded Amir by saying ,"Someone can see you. Allah can see you. And we shoulddo the right thing, whether we are alone or withothers."

Amir nodded his head and regretted what he did. He realized that he should have not taken something that did not belong to him.

Amir looked at his friend and said, "JazakAllahu Khayran Khalid." Khalid smiled and said, "That's what friends are for."As the two friends were leaving the garden, the owner cameout and yelled, "Would you like to have some apples, boys?".Khalid said: "SubhanAllah, taqwa is good. It gives you good rewards, and apples too!"

story : Nowhere to Hide

cup cakes

Let us read another story together:

One day, Zaid's grandfather was visiting Zaid's family. Bilal was at Zaid's home too. Grandfather called all the children. He wanted to teach the children a lesson about the power of Allah. All the children hurried to him: Zaid, Leena and Bilal.

Grandfather gave each one of them a cupcake that their grandmother had made. The grandfather asked the children to eat the cupcakes in a place where no one could see them."Each one of you find a place where no one can see you, and eat your cupcake there," Grandfather said. Leena went inside her room, said "Bismillah," and ate her cupcake.

Bilal went out to the garden and climbed up to the tree house where he was by himself. He said "Bismillah,"and ate his cupcake.

At the same time, Zaid was still looking for a place to be alone.

Finally, he went back to his grandfather and said,"Grandfather, everywhere I went, I was not alone. I knew Allah was watching over me and protecting me. So I am never alone."

Grandfather Mahmoud called Leena and Bilal, and told them what Zaid said.

The three children learned an important lesson.

No matter where we go,Allah is always with us,awatching us and protecting us.

We should always do what is right, because Allah knows all secrets.

What is Taqwa?

Once somebody asked Omar ibn-ul-Khattab: What is taqwa?

He said: Did you ever walk through a land with many thorny bushes?

The Man answered: Yes.
Omar: What did you do?
Man: I tried my best not to touch the thorns, so they would not poke me.
Omar: This is taqwa: you try your best not to sin, because sins displease Allah and hurt you.
