The Muslims are bound to their Conditions
Question :
I am a craftsman who makes pillows that are stuffed with wood shavings and when I sell them I explain to the buyer that they are stuffed with wood shavings. Is that permissible for me?
Answer:
If you informed the buyer that the stuffing of the pillows is from wood shavings and that this type of wood shavings is completely distinct from other types, so that when you informed him it was as if he witnessed it. If you informed everyone of this who purchased from you, there is no sin on you for that. This is due to the generality of the Prophet's statement:
"The Muslims are bound to their conditions."
