Trimming the Beard
Question :
Is it permissible for a person to reduce the length of his beard by trimming it?
Answer:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ clearly said:
"Clip your moustaches and grow your beards."
The beard consists of the hair that grows on one's cheeks and chin, and not of the hair that grows beneath that.
