Was Isma'il buried in Al-Hatim?


Question:

It is reported in biography books that Ismail, may Allah exalt his mention, was buried in Al-Hatim, in Makkah. If this is true, how can it be permissible to pray in that place?


Answer:

The claim that Isma'il was buried in Al-Hatim is not true, and an unreliable statement. Allah is the one who grants success.
