The Middle Night of Sha'ban
Question :
A questioner asks whether there is a special prayer for the middle night of Sha'ban?
Answer:
There is not one authentic Hadith that speaks of the middle night of Sha'ban; rather, every Hadith that is related about this night is either fabricated or weak. Therefore, during that night, we should not read any special invocation or pray any special prayer. Some scholars have said that this is special, but their opinion in this regard is weak. And Allah is the Granter of success.
