Ramadan Dua
The best dua is the one which is made from the core of your heart. Dua doesn’t necessarily need to be in Arabic as Allah understands all languages.Below are some special duas from Quran and Hadith that you can also make relating to your needs.
✨رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Translation :
“Our Lord! We have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire.”
Transliteration :
rabbana innana amanna faghfir lana dhunuubana wa qinna ‘adhaban-Naar
✨ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ أَوْ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي وَنُورَ صَدْرِي وَجِلَاءَ حُزْنِي وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي
Translation :
“O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant, the son of Your maidservant. My forehead is in Your hand, Your decision applies to me, and Your decision concerning me is fair. I call upon You by every one of the beautiful names with which You have described Yourself, or which You have revealed in Your Book, or You have taught to any of Your creatures, or which You have chosen to keep in the knowledge of the Unseen with You, to make the Quran the delight of my soul, the light of my heart, and to remove my sadness and dispel my anxiety.”
Transliteration :
Allaahumma innee abduk (a) wa-bnu abdik (a), wa-bnu amatik (a), naaSiyaatee bi-yadik (a), maaDin fiyya hukmuk (a), adlun fiyya qadaa-uk, as’aluka bikullismin huwalak (a), sammayta bihi nafsak (a), aw allamtahu ahadam-minkhalaqik (a), aw-anzaltahu fee kitaabik (a), aw-ista’thart (a), bihi fee ilmil-ghaybi indak (a), antaj al-alquraana rabeea qalbee, wa nuura SaDree, wa-jilaa’a huznee, wa zahaaba hammee
✨اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ وَالْعَمَلَ الَّذِيْ يُبَلِّغُنِي حُبَّكَ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ حُبَّكَ أََحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ نَفْسِيْ وَأَهْلِيْ وَمِنَ الْمَاءِ الْبَارِدِ.
Translation :
“Oh Allah, I ask you for you love and the love of those who love you, and I ask you for the actions that will lead me to your love. Oh Allah make your love more beloved to me than myself, my family and the cold water.”
Transliteration :
allahumma inni as`aluka hubbaka wa hubba man yuhibbuka wal amalal ladzi yuballighuni hubbaka. Allahumaj ‘al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi wa ahli wa minal ma’il barid
✨اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِى خَطِيئَتِى وَجَهْلِى وَإِسْرَافِى فِى أَمْرِى وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّى
Translation :
“O Allah, forgive my faults, ignorance and excesses in all matters, and forgive all the sins that You know better than me”
Transliteration :
allahummagh firli khatiati wa jahli wa israfi fi amri wa ma anta a’alamu bihi minni.
✨رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
Translation :
“Our Lord, give us mercy from Yourself, and bless our affair with guidance.”
Transliteration :
rabbanaa aatinaa min ladunka rahmatan wahayyi’ lanaa min amrinaa rasyadaa
✨اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَاىَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَتِي ” . وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ ” عَوْرَاتِي وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَىَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي ”
Translation :
“O Allah, I ask you for pardon and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my weaknesses, and set at ease my dismay. O Allah, preserve me from the front and from behind and on my right and on my left and from above; and I seek refuge with you lest I be swallowed up by the earth.”
Transliteration :
Allahumma in-nee as’aa-lu-kal af-wa wal ‛aafiyah, fid-dun-yaa wal-aa-khi-rah, Allahumma in-nee as’aa-lu-kal af-wa wal ‛aafiyah, feedee-nee wa dun-yaa-ya, wa ah-lee wa maa-lee, Allahum-mas-tur aw-raa-tee wa aa-mir-raw ‛aa-tee Allahum-mah-faz-nee mim bay-niya-day-ya, wa min khal-fee, wa ay-ya-mee-nee, wa ‛an shi-maa-lee, wa min faw-qee, wa a‛oo-zu bi-‛a-za-ma-tika an ugh-taa-la min tah-tee
✨رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْراً وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى القَوْمِ الكَافِرِينَ
Translation :
“Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance, make our foothold sure, and give us help against the disbelieving folk.”
Transliteration :
Rabbana afrigh ‘alayna sabran wa thabbit aqdamana wansurna ‘alal-qawmil-kafirin
✨اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي
Translation :
“O Allah, forgive my sins, expand my abode, and bless me in my provision.”
Transliteration :
Allahummaghfirli dhanbi, wa wassi li fi dari, wa barik li fi rizqi
✨رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Translation :
“Our Lord, we have believed, so count us among the witnesses.”
Transliteration :
Rabbanaa aamannaa faaktubnaa ma’asy-syaahidiina
✨رَبِّ ٱبْنِ لِى عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِى ٱلْجَنَّةِ
Translation :
“My Lord, build for me, with you, a house in Paradise.”
Transliteration :
rabibni lii indaka baitan fil jan nati
✨ رَبَّنَا ٱفۡتَحۡ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَ قَوۡمِنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡفَٰتِحِينَ
Translation :
“Our Lord! Decide between us and our people in truth, and you’re the best of those who give decisions.”
Transliteration :
Rabbanaf tah bainanaa wa baina qawminaa bilhaqqi wa Anta khairul faatiheen
✨اَللّٰهُمَّ زِدْنَا وَلَا تَنْقُصْنَا ، وَأَكْرِمْنَا وَلَا تُهِنَّا ، وَأَعْطِنَا وَلَا تَحْرِمْنَا ، وَآثِرْنَا وَلَا تُؤْثِرْ عَلَيْنَا ، وَأَرْضِنَا وَارْضَ عَنَّا
Translation :
“O Allah, grant us more and not less. Honour us and do not disgrace us. Grant us and do not deprive us. Favour us and do not favour others over us. Make us pleased with You and be pleased with us.”
Transliteration :
Allahumma zidna wa la tanquṣna, wa akrimna wa la tuhinna, wa atina wa la tahrimna, wa athirna wa la tuthir alayna, wa ardina wa-rda anna.
✨رَبِّ هَبْ لِى حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِى بِٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
Translation :
“My Lord! Grant me wisdom, and include me with the righteous. And give me a reputation of truth among the others. And make me of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss.”
Transliteration :
Rab bi hab li hukmaw wa alhiqni bis saalihin Wajal li lisaana sidqin fil aakhirin Wajalni miw warasati jan natin naim
✨اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَارْزُقْنِي عِلْمًا تَنْفَعُنِي بِهِ
Translation :
“Oh Allah benefit me with what You have taught me, and teach me that which will benefit me, and grant me knowledge which will benefit me.”
Transliteration :
Allahumman fa’nee bi-maa ‘allam-ta-nee wa ‘allim-nee maa yanfa’u-nee war zuq-nee ‘ilman yanfa’u-nee
✨رَبَّنَآ أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَٱغْفِرْ لَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Translation :
“Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us. (for) You are truly Most Capable of everything.”
Transliteration :
rab banaa atmim lanaa nuu ranaa wagfir lanaa in naka alaa kul li sai in qadir
✨ رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Translation :
“My Lord! I am truly in (desperate) need of whatever provision You may have in store for me.”– Quran 28:24
Transliteration :
Rabbi innee limaaa anzalta ilaiya min khairin faqeer
✨اللهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلَ إِلَا مَا جَعَلْتَهَ سَهْلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً
Translation :
“O Allah, there is no ease except in that which You have made easy and You make the difficulty if You wish, easy.”
Transliteration :
Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja`altahu sahla wa anta taj`alu ‘l-hazna idha shi’ta sahla
✨اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
Translation :
“Oh Allah! I take refuge in you from the punishment of the grave.”
Transliteration :
allhumma inee aaudubika min azaabil kabr
✨رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ وَلِوَالِدَيَّ
Translation :
“Our Lord, forgive me, and my parents.”
Transliteration :
rabbigfirlii waliwaalidaya
✨اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَل
Translation :
“Oh Allah! I seek refuge in you from laziness and inaction.”
Transliteration :
Allahum inni A’oothubika min al-ajzi wal-kasal
