He left from 'Arafat before Sunset


Question :

What is the ruling on someone who performed Hajj and he left from 'Arafat before sunset due to his work situations?


Answer:

Whoever leaves from 'Arafat before sunset, must offer a ransom (of atonement) according to most of the people of knowledge, unless he returns to it at night, in which case he is not required to offer a ransom. The ransom is the slaughtering of an animal that is to be distributed to the poor people of the Haram.
