Bowing and Prostrating is Allowed Only to Allâh
Question :
Am I allowed to bow to someone like my parents for example?
Answer:
No, it is not allowed; moreover, it is Shirk (associating partners with Allâh) because bowing, like prostrating, is a form of worship of Allah Almighty. We are therefore only allowed to perform it for Allah Almighty.
And with Allah is the facilitation to do what is right. O Allah, send peace and blessings on Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
