Takbeer of Celeberation Eid
Color our Eids with Takbeer
With takbeer we color our Eids our celebrations!
This is the day of Eid. This is the day of takbeer. Allah Akbar7, La Ellah Ell Allah, Wa Lellah Alhmed.
We the Muslims we color our Eids with takbeer. With takbeer we create the glories!
With takbeer, we start the salat.
With takbeer, we start the call for Adan!
With tabeer, we start the salat.
With takbeer, we start the life!
When the baby is borne, we make Adan in his ear, Allah Akbar! And when we stand for salat, we say, Allah Akbar. When we slaughter, we say Bessem Ellah, and WaAllah Akbar. We are the ones who say Le Allah Ella Allah, and we are the ones who say Allah Akbar. We the Muslims, we learned to make Allah Akbar be our slogan our sign!
The Eid has come so the believers can be delighted with the help of Allah for them in their fasting. For the one who is fasting, he has two occasions or times of happiness: When he breaks his fast every day, he feels happy. And when he breaks his fast after the end of Ramadan, he feels happy in a different way. It is the happiness for his success to be obedient to Allah the glorious! He feels that Allah has bestowed on him the blessing of fasting and the establishment of prayers during the days and nights of Ramadan. The Eid comes to complete the blessings of Allah on him. Say by the grace of Allah and his mercy with that they should feel happy. This is better than anything else they can gather! Dear brothers and sisters the day of Eid is similar to the Day of Judgment. Faces in which it will look bright, and smiling and full of hope. And there will be faces, covered with darkness, filled with stress.
Those who are happy, these are the ones that Allah has enabled them to complete the blessings of fasting and the establishment of prayers. In this day, they are happy and they deserve to feel this way. And those faces that are filled with darkness are those who did not appreciate the blessings of Allah on them. They did not abide by the orders of Allah, and sad to them for their bad deeds!
The meaning of Takbeer!
Allah Akbar, God is great! It is not a mere slogan to be said frivolously!
It means, that the whole world is small in your eyes besides Allah, glory be to him.
If they offer you money, prestige, or the entire world to abandon your religion, you will not negotiate that at all. You will be steadfast, and you will say, Allah Wa Akbar, Allah Wa Akbar. God is great, God is great! Allah is greater than money, greater than any worldly prestige, greater than any worldly desires!
Certain characteristics of Eid
Our Eids, come following acts of worships and obligations to Allah, glory is to him.
For this reason, our Eids we Muslims posses certain characteristics:
- Our Eids are Godly celebrations. There are no loose ends for personal desires, and wrong doings. Our Eids, start with Takbeeers, its starts with prayers. Our Eids are connected to its creator!
- Our Eids are characterized with the humanly character! That is why, the Muslim is not supposed to celebrate the Eid alone. There is no one who eats alone, and no one to live alone.
- In Eid Al Fiter, Allah has prescribed Zakat Al Fiter. The Prophet peace is upon him has ordered the Zakat of Fiter on every living Muslim. It is purification for the fasting person from frivolous talk, and a feeding for the poor. It has been prescribed on every young and old, male or female, free or a slave. He said; suffice the poor that day the asking for help. Instead of the poor seeking the well to do for help, it is the role of the well to do to find the needy and give him the zakat to enable him to feel burden free that day from the need to find money to feed himself and his family.
Similarly, during Eid Al Adha, Allah has ordained that the believer should slaughter an animal. He is to share its meal with his family, the poor, and friends. But this was not limited only to the Muslims’ poor, but also to the people of other faiths.
It was narrated from Abo Dawood and Tramidi, that Abdulla ben Amro bin Al Elas, had a lamb being slaughtered for him for his family. When he came home, he asked, did you give a share to our Jewish neighbor? He said: I have heard the Prophet of Allah saying: So often Gabriel was recommending me with the neighbor until I thought that he would give him a share of my inheritance!
This is the Islam! It is not of Islam, that you eat alone. That you enjoy the bounties of the various foods and meats, while your brother or neighbor is hungry. The Prophet PUH, said Mohamed is innocent of a person who goes to bed and his neighbor is hungry besides him.
Islam O’ Muslims is a Philosophy of life. It is a system of life that accompanies the person from the moment of his birth to the moment of his death. Probably even before the moment of his birth and after his death too! In Islam, there are laws about the baby inside his mother’s stomach. There are laws about the dead person after his death. Rules about his washing, the shrouding of his body, burial, and division of his money and property.
It is a journey that accompanies the person through out his entire life. In the Masjid, at home, in the field, or the factory. At school, court, or the street. It prepares the person to a comprehensive Islamic way of life. Guided by the basic beliefs, checked by the highest of morals, and governed by Shrieah in every matter. From how to behave while entering the bathroom to the system of government. From the etiquettes of the meal to the building of a nation. It teaches how to eat and drink. You say, Bissim Ellah, and you eat with your right hand, and you eat from the area in front of you. Don’t drink from a utensil made of Gold or silver or a spoon made of the same. It teaches you to rule by the book of Allah and don’t follow your own conjuncture!
The question that we raise today, is it enough that Islam should be victorious alone?
Can Islam be dominant alone without the Muslims? Can Islam be glorious without men and women of Islam?
Islam needs the Muslim men and women to make him victorious and honored. It needs men and women who propagate it to the rest of humanity. It needs men and women who can be looked at as the right example and model to follow. That is needed so that the people can say yes, this is what Islam is all about, and this is a walking Quran! The same as the Prophet and his companions were.
I slam is great, but it needs great Muslims to compensate it for it glory! Allah said to his Prophet, it is he who has supported you by his support and by the believers. Then it is a must that the believers support Islam.
A non Muslim studied Islam, and at the end of his study, he said: That is a great religion but it needs great men and women to propagate it.
We need to remember that we are all mirrors of Islam. We need to be the best we can be to give this religion the support and victory that it deserves.
If the day of Eid coincides with Friday, then whoever prays Eid with the imaam does not have to attend Jumu’ah (it is not obligatory on him); in his case it becomes Sunnah. If he does not pray Jumu’ah, he has to pray Zuhr. This is in the case of people other than the imaam. As for the imaam, he has to be present for Jumu’ah and lead those Muslims who attend the prayer. The Jumu’ah prayer should not be forsaken completely on this day.
