The Ruling on forming a Second Congregation


Question :

Some of the worshippers come to the prayer late and form a second congregation after they have missed the congregation of the regular Imam. What is the ruling of Islam on this?


Answer:

If people arrive after the Imam has made the Taslim and they form a second congregation, there is no sin in this, according to the words of the Prophet:
"Who will give charity to this man by praying with him?»
