Iblis lives among Us till this Day

Question:

Is Iblis may Allah curse him still alive? Or did he die? Do the Jinn bury their dead like humans?

Answer:

Allah mentions in the Qur'an that Iblis (Satan) asked Allah for respite, and Allah has given to him. Allāh quotes Iblis' request saying:

Allah keep me alive until the day they will be resurrected. Allah said, "Verily you are of those who will until the known Day."
Therefore, he will live until the known Day, which is the Final Day when he will die.

As for the Jinn, they are spirits that do not need bodies, and they die too and are buried accordingly. We do not know how they look, how they die, nor how they are buried. They are not like humans. Allah knows best.
