I live with My Family and Their Income is from Unlawful Means
Question :
I am a young unemployed Muslim man and my family pays for my food and drink from unlawful sources, is my prayer acceptable or not?
Answer:
It is not permissible for you to eat, drink or be supported by money obtained from unlawful sources:
And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine.
But there is no effect from this upon your prayers, indeed, they are correct.
