Dua for deceased (Female)

The best dua is the one which is made from the core of your heart. Dua doesn’t necessarily need to be in Arabic as Allah understands all languages.
Below are some special duas from Quran and Hadith that you can also make relating to your needs.

🔷لا إلهَ إلاّ اللّهُ وحْـدَهُ لا شَـريكَ لهُ، لهُ المُـلْكُ ولهُ الحَمْـد، وهُوَ على كُلّ شَيءٍ قَدير .

Translation :

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner.
His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things..

Transliteration :

Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah,
lahu ‘l-mulku walahu ‘l-ḥamd,
wa huwa `alā kulli shay'in qadīr.

🔷 اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ

Translation :

O Allah, honour and have mercy upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have honoured and had mercy upon Ibrāhīm and the family of Ibrāhīm. Indeed, You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have blessed Ibrāhīm and the family of Ibrāhīm. Indeed, You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious.

Transliteration :

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammad wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad, kamā ṣallayta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa ʿalā āli Ibrāhīm, innaka Ḥamīdu-m-Majīd, Allāhumma bārik ʿalā Muḥammad, wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad, kamā bārakta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa ʿalā āli Ibrāhīm, innaka Ḥamīdu-m-Majīd.

🔷اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُا الَّلهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُا

Translation :

O Allah, forgive her. O Allah, strengthen her.

Transliteration :

Allaahum-maghfir laha Allaahumma thabbitha

🔷اللهُـمِّ اغْفِـرْ لِـ-فُلاَنٍ (باسـمه ) وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتََـهُا فِي المَهْـدِيّيـنَ ، وَاخْـلُفْـهُا في عَقِـبِهِ في الغَابِِـرِينَ، وَاغْفِـرْ لَنَا وَلَـهُا يا رَبَّ العـالَمـين، وَافْسَـحْ لَهُا في قَبْـرِهِا وَنَـوِّرْ لَهُا فِيهِ

Translation :

O Allah, forgive [name of the person] and elevate her station among those who are guided. Send her along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and her, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for her her grave and shed light upon her in it.

Transliteration :

Allaahummaghfir li (name of the person) warfa’ darajataha fil-mahdiyyeena, wakhlufha fee ‘aqibiha fil-ghaabireena , waghfir-lanaa wa laha yaa Rabbal-‘aalameena, wafsah laha fee qabriha wa nawwir laha feehi.

🔷اللَّهمَّ اغْفِرْ لَها وَارْحَمْهُا، وَعَافِها وَاعْفُ عَنْها، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَها، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَها، وَاغْسِلْها بِالمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّها مِنَ الخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، وَأَبْدِلْها دَاراً خَيْرا ً مِنْ دَارِها، وَأَهْلاً خَيْرا ً مِنْ أَهْلِها، وَزَوْجَاً خَيْرا ً مِنْ زَوْجِهِا، وَأَدْخِلْها الجَنَّةَ، وَأَعِذْها مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ النَّار

Translation :

‘O Allah, forgive and have mercy upon her, excuse her and pardon her, and make honourable her reception. Expand her entry, and cleanse her with water, snow, and ice, and purify her of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. Exchange her home for a better home, and her family for a better family, and her spouse for a better spouse. Admit her into the Garden, protect her from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.’

Transliteration :

Allāhumma’ghfir laha warḥamha,
wa `āfiha, wa`fu `anha,
wa akrim nuzulaha,
wa wassi` mudkhalaha,
wagh’silha bi ‘lmā'i wath-thalji walbarad,
wa naqqiha mina ‘l-khaṭāyā
kamā naqqaytath-thawba ‘l-abyaḍa minad-danas,
wa abdilha dāran khayran min dāriha,
wa ahlan khayran min ahliha,
wa zawjan khayran min zawjiha,
wa adkhilha ‘l-jannah,
wa a`idhha min `adhābi ‘l-qabri [wa `adhābin-nār].

🔷اللهُـمِّ إِنَّ فُلانَ بْنَ فُلانٍ في ذِمَّـتِك ،
وَحَبْـلِ جِـوارِك ،
فَقِـها مِنْ فِتْـنَةِ الْقَـبْرِ وَعَذابِ النّـار ،
وَأَنْتَ أَهْلُ الْوَفـاءِ وَالْـحَقِّ ،
فَاغْفِـرْ لَها وَارْحَمْـها ،
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الغَـفورُ الـرَّحيم

Translation :

‘O Allah, so-and-so is under Your care and protection so protect her from the trial of the grave and torment of the Fire. Indeed You are faithful and truthful. Forgive and have mercy upon her, surely You are The Oft-Forgiving, The Most-Merciful.’

Transliteration :

Allāhumma inna [name the person] fī dhimmatik, wa ḥabli jiwārik, faqiha min fitnati ‘l-qabri wa `adhābin-nār,wa anta ahlu ‘l-wafā'i wa ‘l-ḥaqq. Faghfir laha warḥamha innaka anta ‘l-Ghafūrur-Raḥīm.

🔷رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَٰنِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ وَلا تَجْعَلْ فِى قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ

Translation :

Our Lord, forgive us and our brethren who were our forerunners in the faith, and do not put any rancour in our hearts toward the faithful. Our Lord, You are indeed most kind and merciful. (59:10)

Transliteration :

Rabbi eghfer lana wali ekhwanina allazin sabakuna bel iman wala taj'al fi kulubina ghillan lillazin amanu rabbana innak ra oufon rahim.

🔷اللهُـمِّ أَمَـتِك وَابْنة أَمَـتِك، احْتـاجَت إِلى رَحْمَـتِك، وَأَنْتَ غَنِـيٌّ عَنْ عَذابِـها، إِنْ كانَت مُحْـسِنة فَزِدْ في احَسَـناتِها، وَإِنْ كانَت مُسـيئة فَتَـجاوَزْ عَنْـها

Translation :

O Allah, Your female slave and the daughter of Your female slave are in need of Your mercy, and You are not in need of her torment. If she was pious then increase her rewards and if she was a transgressor then pardon her.

Transliteration :

Allaahumma amatik wabnatu ‘amatika ihtaaja ‘ilaa rahmatika, wa ‘Anta ghaniyyun ‘an ‘athaabiha, ‘in kaanat muhsinatan fazid fee hasanaatiha, wa ‘in kaanat musee’atan fatajaawaz ‘anha.

🔷اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ.
